Correlations between conditions of the polyaniline (PANI) interlayer formation on surface a polysulfone (PSF) porous membrane substrate and structure performance thin-film composite (TFC) membranes for nanofiltration with polyamide (PA) selective layer prepared via interfacial polymerization (IP) were studied. It was shown that application PANI significantly enhanced hydrophilicity (the water contact angle decreased from 55 ± 2° down to 26-49 2°), pore size porosity, increased roughness PSF/PANI substrates due bigger globules, which affect PA TFC IP. intermediate yielded thinner layer, decline in roughness, an increase declined 28 <10°) crosslinking degree NF membranes. The developed approach allows us enhance permeation up 45-64 L·m-2·h-1 at ΔP = 0.5 MPa improve selectivity (rejection coefficient MgSO4->99.99%; LiCl-5-25%; sulfadimetoxine-80-95%) also ensure long-term operational stability interlayer. Moreover, Mg2+/Li+ separation factor values found 37 58 PANI-modified compared 9 8 reference NF-PSF
