Background: Gestures or manual signing are valid options for augmentative and alternative communication. However, the data in literature limited to a few neurodevelopmental disorders, less is known about its application community setting. Objectives: This case report explores feasibility preliminary efficacy of tact training with gestural support intervention child affected by language disorder challenging behaviors Methods: Baseline assessments were conducted using Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment Placement Program (VB-MAPP) Griffiths Mental Developmental Scale-III (GMDS-III). The patient received six months standard treatment, consisting neuropsychomotor speech therapy each twice week, improved cooperation proposed activities, but no improvement language. Afterward, total 24 sessions interventions performed. Data collected two independent observers analyzed measure behavioral outcomes. Results: VB-MAPP scores increased form minimal communication social interaction at T0 (baseline) compliance unchanged skills T1 (after therapy). After tack (T2), showed significant improvements, notable increases verbal operants, independence communication, intersubjectivity skills. GMDS-III T2 also demonstrated growth social, communicative, cognitive Additionally, reduced more than 70% nearly resolved end intervention. Conclusions: Personalized approaches appear be essential tailored developmental age. Further research needed determine effectiveness these other identify characteristics that may predictors outcomes tailor intervention, explore generalization results obtained strategies.

Communicative development can be better understood by examining the diversity of gestures and how various forms are interlinked in their developmental origins – genealogy. To draw attention to differences interrelations among gestures, we group into three families based on origins: (1) action-based that develop from infants’ spontaneous actions others respond to; (2) conventional gestures; (3) iconic gestures. Although these diverse acquired through somewhat different pathways, argue they context shared experiences within social routines. What differs is relative role caregiver child initiating routine. In viewing communicative this way, show importance basing our investigations an adequate conception meaning order recognize similarity underlying processes involved early development.

Background: The significance of early detection and intervention in hearing impairment is well-documented, with substantial evidence suggesting improved language outcomes children who are identified receive at an age. Objective: To quantitatively compare the communicative abilities impairments versus late to evaluate impact timing on their development. Methods: In a cohort study 104 impairment, two groups were defined based age identification: (before 6 months) (after months). Using Communication Checklist-2, as well standardized tests for receptive expressive language, we assessed compared communication skills. Results: Early demonstrated superior skills, 47.1% using object pointing 57.4% children. A significant contrast was observed verbal communication, exhibiting higher usage creative one-word utterances 33.3% against 31.5% group. Receptive scores group by average 12 points, while 15 points. Late showed reliance preverbal 3.7% incidence self-injury 5.2% occurrence aggression. Conclusion: findings emphasize advantage identification skills not only show greater propensity but also achieve scores, underscoring need prompt loss intervention.
