The implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in conjunction with proficient investor relations management (IRM) can enhance the reputation and appeal enterprises, thereby fostering sustainable development enterprises. This paper examines correlation between CSR IRM by exploring potential misinterpretation socially responsible actions listed companies as “hypocrisy”. We use fixed effect model, moderating model instrumental variable method to examine IRM. findings indicate that actively fulfilling interaction communication investors capital market, mitigating risk being perceived positive is particularly pronounced when are experiencing poor operational performance. These conclusions remain robust even after conducting various tests address endogeneity concerns. In terms underlying mechanisms, primarily enhances through strengthening network on-site interactions. Moreover, enterprises more inclined proactively interact market face severe financial difficulties, stringent financing constraints, or quality information disclosure.
