This review systematically examines the use of additive manufacturing (AM), also known as 3D printing (3DP), in various aspects military applications such firearms, armor and ballistic resistant structures, including those bioinspired. The main goal is to provide a comprehensive exploration AM applications. materials structures created using technologies are analyzed reported. Dynamic loading, impact via Charpy Izod tests were explored search, although not considered results be typically conducted at low strain rates, far from real solicitation. Recently, an increase has been found, particularly gun prototypes fabricated diverse with AM. Although innovation, costs, clear advantages these devices printing, there limitations, worrying panorama unclear regulations that prevent weapons eventually reaching ordinary citizens. Current perspectives, opportunities, challenges discussed.

Abstract In the proton exchange membrane fuel cells, bipolar plates (BPs) are being widely used in multifunctional mode. They have many unique properties, including prevention of coolant and gas leakages, dissipation heat from active portions, distribution air, gas, uniformly, electric current conduction between cell to as a chain, etc. This experimental work was intense fabricate polymer‐based composite using hybrid combinations. Composites prepared by carbon black (CB), glass fiber (GF), graphite (G) with epoxy silicone resins. The mixing materials resins is controlled Aquila Taguchi optimization (ATO) method through L16 Orthogonal Array (OA). Mixing parameters chosen rotational speed (20, 30, 40, 50 rpm), time (10, 15, 20, 25 min), temperature (25, 35, 40°C). Influencing these increases electrical conductivity (S/cm) flexural strength (MPa) newly plate composites. From this analysis, highest obtained, such 268.361 S/cm. Similarly, extreme occurred at 134.90 MPa.

Natural fiber composites are receiving more and attention because of their greenness low cost. Among natural fibers, bamboo is characterized by fast growth, a short cultivation period, high strength good toughness, one the strongest fibers in world. A bamboo-fiber-reinforced polymer composite (BFRPC) has characteristics mechanical strength, density, degradability, etc. It industrial applicability comparable to metal materials, same strong corrosion resistance as such glass carbon immunity electromagnetic interference thermal conductivity materials. Its unidirectional specific modulus higher than that fiber, second only extremely price which playing an increasingly important role field can be widely used fields wind power, construction, aviation, automotive, medical care so on. At present, it been initially packaging, automotive transportation fields, expected replace petroleum-based plastics various fields. In addition environmental protection green production, they have excellent physical properties. This paper provides overview properties thermoplastic thermoset developed far, tensile flexural impact strength. addition, prospects for packaging agricultural applications presented.
