Molecular sieves 4A zeolite are materials used to dehydrate natural gas in liquefaction plants (LNG) Algeria. After several cycles of regeneration and reuse, their structures degrade affect performances. Once replaced by new ones, they will be stored within the plant as an industrial 4Azeolite (U4AZ). The aim this study is investigate possibility using U4AZ adsorbent for removing phenol ethanol from aqueous solutions a fixed bed column. Breakthrough curves were plotted adsorption on varying initial concentrations (281, 444 mg/L) contact time constant flow rate (0.5 mL/min). experimental data fitted empirical relationship based Bohart-Adams model. obtained correlations good agreement with breakthrough curve data. This investigation indicated that could recyclable material remove solution adsorption.

Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have become increasingly more useful and necessary in the past few decades because they can degrade a wide range of organic inorganic contaminants. The toxic recalcitrant nature many contaminants obstruct traditional biological processes, making treatment ineffective. Therefore, there is pressing need to develop apply effective for industrial wastewater, polluted by pharmaceuticals, dyes, other industries. AOPs successful technologies treating wastewater remove contaminants, reduce toxicity, improve biodegradability, including using ultraviolet (UV) visible light (VIS) combined with homogenous or heterogeneous catalysts. This review shows that Fenton process semiconductor material greatly facilitates removing various pollutants. Additionally, photocatalysis research ongoing this method effectively removes emerging In addition, challenges, needs, future uses are described performance hasten large-scale implementation water treatment.

Because of the serious risks they pose to environment and public health, chlorophenols (CPs), a typical class most persistent organic pollutants, have drawn increasing attention. Monitoring CPs effectively has become pressing difficult problem. The rapidly need for onsite real-time CP detection led consideration electrochemical sensing as workable solution. Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based emerged promising area environmental monitoring in response this analytical MIPs, conjunction with miniature transducers, provide opportunity detect target analytes situ. These devices advantages great chemical physical stability, cheap production costs, good selectivity, quick times. Most studies suggest that these sensors use nanoparticles improve their properties, especially sensitivity. Furthermore, successfully used real water samples without time-consuming pretreatment procedures. This article provides an overview MIP-based reported samples. To obtain highest sensitivity, special is given fabrication sensors, which includes various functional monomers, platforms, materials. Several other parameters are also discussed, including linear concentration range, limit detection, types were examined.
