Abstract The use of natural plant‐based bio‐coagulants/flocculants is gaining prominence in wastewater treatment. This study investigated the efficacy liquids extracted from cladodes Opuntia ficus‐indica ( Cactaceae ) stored under different conditions for a defined period. aim was to assess correlation between storage and performance treating synthetic kaolin‐rich water. results underscore critical role post‐harvest preserving functional these bio‐products.
