In this contribution, the synthesis and reactivity with HS- of a family half-salen Zn complexes are reported. We provide evidence that binds zinc center all under investigation. DFT CCSD(T) calculations were performed to model these HS-. successfully applied homoleptic complex bearing Schiff-based ligand pyridine pendant arms as probe for monitoring exogenous endogenous H2S levels in live cells.
