Under the impetus of new generation technological revolution, digitalization offers opportunities for green development marine economy. Utilizing data from 11 coastal Chinese provinces and cities between 2011 2020, this paper constructs a comprehensive index system Based on this, fixed effects model is used to explore impact economy its underlying mechanisms. The findings indicate that effectively promotes economy, with effect being more pronounced in regions bordering “the Belt Road” initiative. Mechanism tests by raising level ports. When breaking down components port development, it found improving location quotient plays crucial role than radiation intensity how Additionally, environmental regulation exerts U-shaped moderating relationship these findings, recommended use digital technologies data, expedite big platforms, integrate resources, optimize operations, apply policies judiciously promote efficient resource management sustainable economic development.

The digital economy plays an important role in promoting the high quality and sustainable development of marine fishery economy. Based on panel data from 2011 to 2022, we firstly adopted entropy method comprehensively evaluate level fishing. Secondly, constructed a two-way fixed effect model empirically analyze impact mediating green science technology innovation, further explored regional heterogeneity quality. Several findings emerge. was relatively low showed fluctuating increase. can significantly improve fishing, conclusion still valid after considering series robustness tests. drive through innovation. This paper proposes fostering advancement sector, effectively harness innovation-driven potential economy, so as facilitate harmonious both economies.

This paper aims to provide insights into the future trends for marine industries in China, by forecasting added value key sectors and then offering tailored policy recommendations. Those economic indicators at industry level are characterized small sample sizes, sectoral heterogeneity, irregular fluctuations, which require a specialized methodology handle data features predictions each industry. To address these issues, conformable fractional grey model ( CFGM ), integrates accumulation with model, is applied proven effective through accuracy robustness tests. First, results from multi-step experiments demonstrate that significantly outperforms traditional statistical, machine learning models, models context of predictions, an average improvement 32.14%. Second, stability predictive values generated further verified Probability Density Analysis PDA ) multiple comparisons best MCB tests, thereby ruling out possibility accurate result mere chance. Third, used estimate across industries, accompanied suggestions ensure sustainable development economy.

The digital economy has emerged as a transformative force, creating new opportunities for sustainable development, especially within the marine fisheries sector. This study examines impact of on green total factor productivity (GTFP) in China’s coastal regions from 2011 to 2022. Using panel data 11 provinces, we employ Slack-Based Measure (SBM) model and Global Malmquist–Luenberger (GML) index assess GTFP analyze effects economic development. Our findings indicate following: (1) significantly enhances fishery GTFP, improving both resource efficiency environmental sustainability; (2) varies across regions, reflecting notable regional heterogeneity infrastructure adoption; (3) threshold effect exists, whereby influence depending level research underscores dual role technologies boosting fisheries’ while promoting greener, more practices. provides valuable insights policymakers aiming integrate transformation into development fisheries.

Introduction This research aims to empirically investigate the dual effects of establishing Marine Economic Development Pilot Zone (MEDPZ) on marine economic growth and environmental governance. The study focuses China’s coastal provinces, where MEDPZs have been implemented, assess their impacts both aspects. Methods employs a Time-varying difference-in-differences (DID) model based panel data from provinces. method allows for assessing causal impact MEDPZ establishment governance by comparing pilot provinces with non-pilot over time. Results has significantly enhanced in Specifically, increased 1.222 percentage points, while improved 0.748. Additionally, varied spatially across different circles. northern circle experienced most substantial benefits. southern saw significant increase but relatively minor improvement In contrast, eastern was not substantially affected. Discussion findings suggest that effectively boosted competitiveness economy mitigating adverse impacts. is achieved through promoting scientific technological advancement strengthening government regulation. provides basis policymakers formulate implement development strategies consider regional differences, enhance financial support science technology R&D, enforce stricter regulations protection.

Introduction This research examines the coupling coordinated development dynamics between marine ecological governance and economic in China’s coastal provinces. The data of 11 provinces were comprehensively analyzed from 2011 to 2021. Methods We established a multi-dimensional evaluation index system for development, employing global entropy weight method quantification. Furthermore, analyzes trends divergence these two systems by constructing coupled coordination degree(CCD) model, utilizing Theil decomposition method, geodetector detector. Results Northern circle outperforms Eastern Southern ones regarding governance, while is most advanced development. results CCD model indicate that Guangdong, Shandong, Hebei, Jiangsu have best Hainan, Tianjin, Guangxi are at bottom. intra-regional disparities primary cause regional variations. At same time, geographic detector further substantiate energy structure, degree industrial agglomeration, foreign overseas direct investment principal influencing factors. Discussion study presents policy recommendations derived findings intended foster integrated advancement ecology economy provinces, reduce disparities, establish scientific foundation achieving sustainable economy.
