The attachment relationship constitutes the first emotionally significant affective bond, usually between infant and mother, serving as a model for subsequent relationships. It is considered vital component of social emotional development in early years an important indicator mental health. In twins, process may exhibit unique characteristics, influenced by dual parenting dynamic individual needs each baby. With this article, we intend to explore challenges infant-caregiver relationships twins through brief, non-systematic literature review regarding clinical case 21-month-old female born from twin pregnancy complicated selective fetal growth restriction (sFGR), prematurity, very low birth weight. patient was initially suspected displaying insecure ambivalent/resistant style, differing her sister. Studies have shown high concordance style pairs, although higher prevalence compared general population. This reflect commonly presented pregnancies perinatal period, such sFGR, feeding difficulties, which increase parental stress that impair parents infants. Attachment not fixed bond. Early identification intervention difficulties within vulnerable group can help mitigate parenting, fostering secure bonds promoting healthy development.

During the still-face (SF) episode of Face-to-Face Still-Face paradigm (FFSF), mothers are instructed to remain still, unresponsive, and silent. However, some participants do not comply with these instructions, researchers typically exclude them from their analyses. These report feelings anxiety discomfort during SF. little is known about maternal SF violations whether they associated other aspects mother-infant relationship. In this experimental longitudinal study, we compared who violated instructions complied them. We then focused on group investigate type (i.e., those meant soothe infant vs. violations), intensity (severe mild), form (verbal non-verbal) mothers' in FFSF at 3 months postpartum were regulatory behavior FFSF, free-play same age, attachment 12 months, or maternal/familial characteristics. Abstract This quasi‐experimental study examined the effect of a virtual supportive program on knowledge among mothers preterm infants and their bond. Mothers are at risk becoming emotionally detached from because immediate separation lack support during early postpartum period, especially in who cannot visit infant regularly. To best our knowledge, no Thailand has effects for these mothers, as most scholars have focused promoting mother–infant interaction to improve bonding enhancing mothers’ about before discharge. recruited 74 with receiving neonatal intensive intermediate care Thailand. The participants were matched according infants’ gestational ages assigned into following two groups: experimental group support, control routine care. results showed that significantly improved cues maternal roles well bonding. Recent research highlights a growing interest in early interactions between fathers and their infants, acknowledging the significant influence these have on developmental outcomes. However, there is limited understanding of specific characteristics paternal infant-directed speech (IDS), especially context premature birth. This study aimed to analyze functional morpho-syntactic features IDS full-term (FT) preterm (PT) infants at 3 months, comparing it with maternal communicative style. Additionally, explored severity birth according weight, further distinguishing extremely low-birth-weight (ELBW) very (VLBW) infants. Seventy-one father-infant mother-infant dyads (24 FT, 22 ELBW, 25 VLBW) were recruited months (corrected age for PTs). Parent-infant video recorded assess lexical, syntactic, aspects speech. Results revealed lower verbosity lexical variability compared one. No differences found parents PT FT groups. Overall, findings could contribute better patterns parent-infant communications both dyads, confirming importance involving mothers from stages development.
