This study investigated the consistency of FIB-4, APRI, and GPR indices in assessing significant liver fibrosis cirrhosis patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) who also suffer from various diseases, providing references for clinical selection application non-invasive assessment methods. The evaluated 744 COVID-19 coexisting diseases: 508 cases non-alcoholic fatty disease (NAFLD), 158 chronic hepatitis B (CHB), 78 a combination both ailments. were employed to assess cirrhosis. Concordance among methods was determined using Kappa analysis, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves helped identify optimal cutoff values each index. For NAFLD, 0.81, 0.90, 0.80, 0.79, cirrhosis, they 0.88, 0.97,0.88, respectively (all p < 0.05). Among those CHB, 0.83, 0.75 fibrosis, and0.87, 0.91, 0.92 In 0.87, 0.86, 0.78 0.67, 0.69, 0.54, 0.81for Linear trend analysis revealed relationships between FIB-4 values, APRI severity (χ2 trend: 15.205,35.114, 13.973, respectively, all 0.001), coronavirus negative conversion time 0.05) CHB(all Using current assessments demonstrated almost perfect evaluating though showed moderate evaluation conditions. Moreover, it indicated that increased correlates more severe prolonged time.

Acute liver failure (ALF) is a rare cause of liver-related mortality worldwide, with an estimated annual global incidence more than one million cases. While drug-induced injury, including acetaminophen toxicity, the leading ALF in Western world, viral infections remain significant and most common many developing nations. Given high rates associated ALF, healthcare providers should be aware broad range that have been implicated to enable early diagnosis, rapid treatment initiation when possible, optimal management, which may include transplantation. This review aims provide summary causes diagnostic approaches, options, expected outcomes.
