Over the years, electricity has developed into a crucial commodity for any nation. The need to evaluate rate of consumption in regard utility management and spatial distribution major devices facilitate appropriate planning within estate is motivation this research. This study used geospatial technology support Omole Estate (Phase One) environs city Lagos, Nigeria. focus was on determining land use area, geolocations transformers, along with cost energy consumed per household. Spatial data research area collected through Hand-held GPS. Google Earth images were downloaded supplement data, comprehensive analysis administered recovered questionnaires conducted enrich dataset. ArcGIS 10.6.1 software employed create database depict whilst modifying all details required within. result confirms that 72% respondents domestic use, 18% commercial while 10% utilise it use. A significant portion homes (33%) still outdated postpaid meters 35% do not know how much power they at home each month or unit electricity. Regarding respondents, 67% have prepaid card/electrical meter installed (per kilowatt). Concerning cost, spends between N1000-N5000 their monthly consumption, 27% N5,000 N10,000, 38% N10,000 N17,000, 24% N17,000 N25,000 2% above These findings will assist effective provide guidance charge rates users which approximately 28% overall.

Air, water, and radiation in urban living environments are crucial factors affecting human health, societal well-being, sustainable development. This study developed a novel hybrid knowledge-based data-driven approach for analyzing air, monitoring data to assess the quality of natural (ULNEQ) Guangdong Province. Fuzzy set-pair analysis was employed preprocessing, effectively incorporating domain knowledge into raw data. Then, hierarchical clustering algorithm utilized evaluate ULNEQ level. The proposed enhanced interpretability optimized process, yielding more robust reliable analytical results. results revealed diverse environmental landscape across province, with Heyuan Meizhou consistently maintaining high standards, whereas Dongguan Jieyang exhibited notably poor conditions, ranking at Level IV or V over 72% observed months. Key such as monthly average concentration ozone (0.56), city water index (0.49), proportion days standard air (PDSAQ) (−0.39) significantly influenced ULNEQ, PDSAQ showing negative correlation. Notably, province-wide observation June 2022 showed all cities ULEQ gradings II better. innovative can be adapted enhance management control ULNEQ.

The different phases of ENSO (El Niño Southern Oscillation) directly influence the occurrence natural disasters and global warming. To limit socio-economic impact, it is essential to develop simple fast numerical models that can predict these cycles. Here, we aimed improve predictive performance extracting relevant information from climatic events by applying signature method time series models. After transforming data using this method, performed a comparative analysis statistical machine learning In addition, used PDP (Partial Dependence Plot) SPRC (Standard Partial Regression Coefficient) better understand interactions between climate indices. Our results showed best was obtained when use with LSTM (R2 = 0.74) Lasso 0.79) Two complementary methods were highlight following indices on cycle changes: NINO3, NINO3.4 NPI (North Pacific Index). These methodologies also enabled us determine switchover thresholds, order temporal variations. With first application type series, accurate forecasts 6-month scale reduced computation time. This suggests our methodology be applied many other fields research multivariate time-series analyses.

Accurate prediction of wildfire behaviour is critical for safe and effective fire management suppression. This study focused on developing evaluating machine learning (ML) models based a dataset collected outdoor experimental fires in Canadian conifer forests. Binary classification (surface vs. crown fire) multi-class type (surface, passive crown, active crown) were created using ensemble tree methods (Random Forest, XGBoost) automated ML (AutoGluon, TabPFN). Generative adversarial networks (GAN) used to generate synthetic data overcome imbalances the distribution. The results show applied binary problem perform best all tested methods, with an overall accuracy 91%. TabPFN had highest problem, use GAN improving model fit. Results overfitting issues some models, highlighting need independent evaluation when are developed. have potential application supporting management, namely fuel identifying situations high spread intensity that can impact firefighter safety.

This research aims to determine the potential of agricultural land in Muna Regency based on parameters, namely level slope, lithology, soil type, rainfall, and flood vulnerability. was carried out Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, for four months, from February May 2023. The data collected consisted secondary obtained agencies related this primary through surveys direct observation by taking coordinate points each parameter observed with help GPS. analysis technique uses overlay analysis, overlapping index maps using ArcMap software. results show that area is 205,769 hectares, distributed over three classes, namely, medium class 50,538 or 24.6%. second: low covering 149,345 72.6%; third: very 5,886 2.9%. Based percentage data, development category. Thus, actions solutions needed increase productivity are (a) spatial planning conservation farming systems; (b) crop livestock integration; (c) location-specific commodity selection.
