Agriculture, the cornerstone of sustenance for over a billion people, faces substantial challenges in meeting food demands growing global population projected to reach nearly 10 by 2050. The need increase agricultural production 70% is compounded decreasing arable land, labor shortages, and environmental such as droughts, floods, soil degradation, pests, diseases. Modernizing agriculture through advanced technologies like IoT, AI, cloud computing, edge fog 5G critical optimizing crop quality quantity. In Morocco, sector transitioning more digital intelligent model with initiatives MarocFarm, which integrates various tools aid farmers. This research project examines impact these on Moroccan agriculture, proposing solutions current future

the persistence of diseases such as gummosis and root rot, mainly caused by Phytophthora spp. species, notably P. parasitica citrophthora. These result in symptoms leaf wilting, reduced growth, rot. However, a detailed characterization species involved these their distribution is necessary for implementation effective control. The aim study to characterize associated with rot citrus Morocco, well select most resistant rootstocks replace Sou orange, often used Moroccan orchards. Fourteen isolates were identified Significant differences observed mycelial growth sporulation potential among culture media used. Isolates also showed variability pathogenicity, some displaying high strong aggressiveness on leaves branches rootstocks. Sour orange appears be relatively resistant, while Citrange C35

Purpose The stormwater industry grapples with numerous environmental challenges resulting from producing and using storm materials. Green building materials (GBMs) offer a more ecologically friendly alternative to conventional construction However, establishing criteria for selecting GBMs assessing their sustainability has proven be complex endeavor. Therefore, this paper aims assess the suitability of in management projects. Design/methodology/approach This study investigates identifies green drainage based on previous literature an extensive survey involving 140 stakeholders Egyptian industry, including facilities managers, asset engineers policymakers. A comprehensive model employing partial least squares structural equation modeling artificial neural network is developed Findings study’s findings emphasize pivotal role social factors practical implementation material selection criteria. Understanding intricate interplay among economic, dimensions becomes crucial as navigate transition toward sustainable Originality/value research highlights importance integrating into decision-making, contributing holistic effective strategies management. originality lies its innovative approach projects novel insights dynamics selection, addressing significant gap field.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has long been framed as an epidemiological and public health concern. Its impacts on the environment are unclear. Yet, basis for AMR is altered cell physiology. Just this affects how microbes interact with antimicrobials, it can also affect they their own species, other non-living environment. Moreover, if globally notorious causing landscape-level environmental issues, then these effects could alter biodiversity ecosystem function a grand scale. To investigate possibilities, we compiled peer-reviewed literature from past 20 years regarding in toxic freshwater cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms (HABs). We examined evidence of affecting HAB frequency, severity, or persistence. Although no study within our scope was explicitly designed to address question, multiple studies reported AMR-associated changes HAB-forming cyanobacteria (and co-occurring microbes) that pertained directly timing, toxicity, phase, well dynamics HAB-afflicted aquatic food webs. These findings highlight potential have far-reaching (including loss function) bring into focus importance confronting complex interrelated issues such HABs concert, interdisciplinary tools perspectives.
