Wetlands play a key role in maintaining the ecological security and sustainable economic development for Beijing, capital city of China. However, dynamic changes on wetland ecosystem service values (ESV) Beijing over past decades remain unknown. In this research, we analyzed changing trend, evolution types their driving factors wetlands ESV based statistical data from 1984 to 2020 with trend test gray correlation. The results revealed that showed remarkable increasing trend. were not set stone. Although proportion regulation services value decreased by about one-third, it was still dominant (ES) type Beijing. More importantly, socioeconomic most considerable influence ESV, followed human activities, natural had least impact.

This study analyzed environmental Chang-Zhu-Tan metropolitan circle, central China from 2000 2020 based on Google Earth Engine (GEE) Remote Sensing Ecological Index (RSEI). Subsequently, we introduced Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) explore RSEI direct indirect effects anthropogenic factors, assessed autocorrelation quality. The results showed that mean value in area was showing an increasing trend, with lowest 2010 (0.6508) highest (0.6948). level mainly good excellent, average accounted for more than 70% total area, upward trend during 2000–2020. Climate, soil, terrain, urbanization had different environment, climate, terrain positive while negative it. effect climate gradually weakened, strengthened. Land use is a crucial factor affecting ecosystem service value (ESV), and forecasting future land changes ESV response can guide urban planning sustainable development decisions. However, the traditional Cellular Automata (CA) model supposes that each cell has only one type at time step, neglects mixed structure proportional distribution of units, does not take into account its quantitative continuous dynamic change, lacks exploration quantity spatial pattern optimization. This study employed novel mixed-cell cellular automata (MCCA) approach, coupled with system dynamics (SD) to predict spatiotemporal under natural increase scenario (NIS), economic (EDS) ecological protection (EPS) in Xi’an, China, 2030. The equivalent coefficient method was utilized investigate heterogeneity sensitivity ESV. results demonstrated SD-MCCA exhibited remarkable prediction accuracy robustness. main 2000–2015 were due expansion, conversion arable construction land, between grassland land. total increased from 19554.36×106 CNY 2000 19618.39×106 EPS 2030, contribution climate regulation hydrological highest. Spatial revealed certain regularity, high region chiefly concentrated woodland favorable conditions. variations NIS improved ESV, while had negative transformations EDS. research provides new way identify relationship utilization scenarios which great significance for management resources formulation compensation standards.

Taking Zhengzhou as an example, this paper analyzes the spatial and temporal characteristics driving factors of change, simulates pattern future. The results study show that types city were mainly farmland construction land, area forestland, grassland, water area, unused was smaller, main transformation into land. accuracy check simulated type data 2020 showed kappa coefficient reached 0.9445, which met requirement. Then, according to predicted 2025, it found may have decreased, farmland, forestland increased. Based on force analysis changes, its prediction can provide important reference basis for formulation planning policies related construction.

The alteration of land use and cover caused by human activities on a global scale has had notable impact ecosystem services at regional levels, which are crucial for the survival welfare beings. Merbil, small freshwater wetland located in Brahmaputra basin Assam, India, is not exempt from this phenomenon. In present study, we have estimated shown spatio-temporal variation service values response to years 1990, 2000, 2010, 2021, predicted same 2030 2040. Supervised classification CA-Markov model were used study land-use land-cover future projection, respectively. result showed significant increase built-up areas, agricultural land, aquatic plants decrease open water vegetation during 1990–2040. area experienced substantial rise observed period (1990–2021) due rapid expansion areas land. Although economically profitable increased site’s overall values, decreasing under may led an ecological imbalance site. Hence, suggest that protecting natural should be priority planning. will aid developing resource sustainability management plans provide useful guidelines preserving local balance wetlands over short medium term.
