Strong
soil
erosion

human
activities
have
made
Loess
Plateau
areas
ecologically
fragile
regions.
Constructing
the
ecological
security
pattern
(ESP)
is
imperative
to
maintain
their
ecosystem
functions
sustainable
development.
However,
it
still
challenging
establish
ESP
in
such
an
unstable
scattered
environment.
In
this
study,
we
take
Shanxi
Province,
which
suffers
severe
problems
areas,
as
example
construct
a
of
“source-resistance-corridor”.
The
proposed
methods
include
following
steps:
(1)
potential
sources
are
selected
with
important
based
on
contributions
water
conservation,
habitat
quality,
carbon
storage;
(2)
determined
by
considering
core
at
landscape
scale
morphological
spatial
analysis
(MSPA)
along
stability
dynamic
assessment
previous
sources;
(3)
comprehensive
resistance
surface
constructed
multiple
factors
remotely
sensed
nighttime
light
data;
(4)
corridors
simulated
extracted
circuit
theory.
As
result,
our
study
area
mainly
includes
13,592
km2
sources,
8519.64
km
corridors,
277
nodes.
Meanwhile,
framework
“two
axes,
three
belts,
zones”
was
optimization
reorganization
components
within
ESP.
Our
research
lays
methodological
practical
foundation
for
regional
construction
development
areas.

Regional
ecological
security
is

pressing
