Abstract Background Healthcare services efficiency (HSE) is directly related to the healthcare demands of general public and also plays an essential role in country’s coordinated economic social development. Methods In this study, stochastic frontier approach (SFA)-Malmquist model was applied measure HSE 31 Chinese provinces based on panel data from 2010–2020. Then, kernel density estimation, Markov chain, exploratory spatial analysis were adopted study temporal-spatial dynamic evolution characteristics HSE. Results The found that China’s showed average value approximately 0.841, indicating room for improvement. varied significantly across regions, presenting “East > Central West” distribution layout. TFP China grew by 1.6% per year, driven mainly technological progress 1.8% year. trend shifting a high level significant, but its exhibited stability maintaining original state, it harder achieve leapfrog transfer. affected geospatial factors, with clear spillover effect agglomeration characteristics. Provinces high-level positive effects, while low-level had negative effects. Thus, “club convergence” phenomenon “high concentration, low agglomeration, levels radiation, suppression” formed distribution. Conclusions results indicate countermeasures should be taken improve China. Theoretical support improvement provided paper.

Reducing carbon emissions while maintaining simultaneous economic growth has been the focus of agricultural and environmental management research in recent times. To examine influence regulations related factors on efficiency, entropy method was utilized to weigh each index develop an system for evaluating regulations. This study utilizes Super Slacked-Based Measure model that takes into account undesirable outputs. The data used spans years 2010–2019 covers 31 provinces China calculate efficiency emissions. A spatial Durbin employed investigate other influential levels eastern region have consistently exceeded national average, whereas central demonstrated lowest across nation. Both intensity agri-environmental measured this paper are strongly spatially autocorrelated between provinces. local is significantly positive, effect adjacent areas not significant. Overall, effectively enhance which turn promotes technological innovation growth. At same time, governments should actively adopt targeted strategies based actual situation different regions terms their resource endowments differences production characteristics crops.

The imbalance in the “production–living–ecology” function (PLEF) has become a major issue for global cities due to rapid advancement of urbanization and industrialization worldwide. realization PLEF coupling coordination is crucial region’s sustainable development. Existing research defined concept from perspective land measured its level using relevant models. However, there still room improvement indicator system, methods, other aspects. This work builds evaluation-index system based on human habitat multi-source data order examine spatial differences influencing factors Yellow River Basin (YRB). Using modified model, Moran index, Markov chain geographically weighted random forest model were introduced analyze temporal differentiation factors. results found that (a) YRB 2010 2022 been improving, number severely imbalanced reduced 23 15, but downstream cities’ significantly higher than upstream cities. probability maintaining their own greater 50%, basically no cross-level transfer. (b) index risen 0.137 0.229, which shows significant positive clustering phenomenon continually strengthening. intercity polarization effect being enhanced as seen LISA diagram. (c) There heterogeneity between time space. In the face of urban development challenges brought about by high-speed urbanization, smart cities have been recognized as a necessary way to promote modernization governance systems and capacity. Therefore, establishment scientific comprehensive evaluation index system is crucial sustainable construction cities. Based on existing research, this study innovatively uses multivariate data construct an for level cities, then systematically evaluates city efficiency 37 from 2016 2021 using Super-efficiency slack-based model considering undesired output Malmquist index. Finally, measures are proposed orderly healthy combining domestic international experience in policy recommendations. Results show following: (1) Overall, imbalance China's between regions has improved, but gap remains central western comparison with east. (2) The improvement correlates regional economic development, showing gradual decrease east west. (3) results can provide theoretical support decision-making basis relevant government departments optimize planning scientifically formulate policies.

Effectively controlling the carbon emissions intensity of transportation sector (TSCEI) is essential to promote sustainable development industry in China. This study, which builds upon trend analysis, Dagum Gini coefficient, and spatial autocorrelation analysis reveal spatiotemporal differentiation TSCEI, employs both traditional Markov chain analyze dynamic evolution TSCEI forecast its future trend. Furthermore, econometric models are constructed examine convergence characteristics TSCEI. The empirical results following key findings: (1) China has significantly declined, exhibiting a distribution pattern “higher north, lower south; higher west, east”. (2) Inter-regional differences main contributors overall disparities, with provincial positive autocorrelation, primarily characterized by high–high low–low agglomeration. (3) tends gradually shift from high- low-intensity states over time, an equilibrium probability 90.98% for transferring state. Provincial shows significant spillover effects, influenced neighboring provinces’ states. (4) demonstrates at national regional levels, including σ convergence, absolute conditional β energy structure technological progress playing particularly prominent role facilitating towards values. policy implications promoting reducing inequality discussed.
