Ecological
restoration,
as
a
component
of
sustainable
development,
can
mitigate
ecosystem
degradation
and
improve
ecological
diversity.
Accurate
identification
restoration
priority
areas
(ERPAs)
is
essential
for
developing
practice.
However,
few
studies
have
considered
both
reference
conditions
vulnerability
during
restoration.
In
this
study,
comprehensive
framework
ERPA
was
developed
by
integrating
vulnerability.
Using
the
Jialing
River
Basin
(JRB),
representative
basin
Yangtze
River,
case
our
results
revealed
that
under
average
climate
conditions,
with
high
values
were
mostly
in
eastern
southeastern
mountainous
JRB,
whereas
potential
concentrated
central
northern
southern
basin.
Additionally,
regions
found
urban
scattered
along
major
tributaries.
Overall,
identified
ERPAs
predominantly
areas,
some
basin,
accounting
9.61%
JRB.
Consequently,
JRB
be
divided
into
four
targeted
management
strategies
to
address
implement
activities.
Moreover,
we
suggest
proposed
identifying
used
clarifying
objectives,
assessing
baseline,
offering
scientific
large-scale
efforts.
