Introduction Biotechnology has significant potential in public health, offering critical support for communicable disease control, chronic illness management, and drug development. To foster biotechnology innovation, governments increasingly incentivize cooperations among organizations, resulting more interconnected cooperation networks. However, research on the evolution of these networks rely primarily static network analysis neglect micromechanisms under evolution, which lead to deviations policymaking. Methods Using temporal exponential random graph model (TERGM), accounts dynamic correlations, based framework consisting agency, opportunity inertia, this study analyzes impacts both endogenous exogenous factors Results The empirical China’s patent data from 2004 2023 reveals following findings policy recommendations. First, is temporally dependent, highlighting need awareness lags. Accurately characterizing the structural features of spatial correlation network comprehensive transportation green efficiency (CTGE) is essential for achieving balanced regional development and eliminating disparities. This study employs slacks-based measure-data envelopment analysis (SBM-DEA) model to assess CTGE China. Furthermore, standard deviational ellipse (SDE) social (SNA) method are adopted delineate spatiotemporal evolution patterns characteristics CTGE, based on input–output data from industry across 30 provinces (municipalities autonomous regions) between 2003 2020. The findings reveal that China’s exhibits a fluctuating trend an initial decline followed by subsequent increase, with national average 0.555 0.722 in eastern regions, 0.434 central 0.478 western regions. demonstrates maintains overall low level while showing significant center gravity has shifted southwestern northeastern trajectory, generally concentrated distribution pattern. distinct “core-edge” hierarchical structure, regions occupying varied roles statuses within network. positioned at periphery, predominantly receiving spillover effects other region, driven its strong effect, serves as network’s “engine”. most contribution this lies developing more evaluation framework precisely identifying positions functional different network, which holds substantial theoretical practical value advancing sustainable sector.

In this paper, the Hefei metropolitan area is selected as research object to measure industrial carbon emissions in during 2010–2022. The main contribution deeply analyze characteristics of spatial correlation network with modified gravity model and social analysis(SNA), explore driving factors its formation quadratic assignment procedure(QAP). It establishes foundation for differentiated green city development policies. results show that (1) emission showed a fluctuating rising trend, forming strongly connected patterna; (2) overall structure stable, but tightness relationship among cities not enough hierarchy evident; (3) Huainan are centers area, position each obviously unbalanced; (4) Urbanization level, economic technological innovation, level opening up exert considerable influence on establishment evolution pertaining within area.
