This study used the Water Quality Analysis Simulation Program (WASP) to simulate nutrients, dissolved oxygen (DO), and chlorophyll-a dynamics in Shenandoah River basin performed an uncertainty analysis examine complexity of these variables water quality estimation their influence on River. Significant progress has been made; however, nutrient loads emitted into from nonpoint sources remain high. Modeling three points Virginia West provides ideal case since river is classified by Department Environmental as being impaired. The results a sensitivity test show that model error decreases with increasing sensitivity. predicted DO values tended be close measured data, while total nitrogen phosphorus overemphasized. Our importance temperature, stream flow, velocity influencing between seasons levels different sections watershed.
