Developing a reasonable landscape ecological risk (LER) assessment is crucial to establishing LER alert mechanisms and promoting protection, environmental management social development. The typical cross-border Koshi River Basin (KRB), which has sensitive human-environment relationship, was the study area. Using model, we evaluated of KRB in 1990, 2000, 2010 2017 analyzed its spatial-temporal evolution characteristics. Spatial autocorrelation analysis conducted assess clustering characteristics LER. results showed following: (1) decreasing trend for 1990–2000 an increasing 2000–2017. High areas were mainly located on border between China Nepal, where increased from 1990 2017. (2) Nepal part had highest LER, Indian lowest As slope increased, extremely ecologically deteriorated generally increased. (3) displayed characteristic KRB. High–high regions distributed high regions, low–low low regions. human influence intensity responsible increase Our valuable development security basins.

In the past few decades, dominating human development patterns have negatively affected ecosystem services (ESs). To sustainably supply multiple ESs and enhance well-being, researchers should analyze responses to antagonistic effects. This study uses InVEST model evaluate key of Shanxi Province in 2000 2020. The geographical detector was used dominant factors spatial differentiation characteristics changes. We Multi-Scale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) identify main drivers changes capture differences variation. results were as follows: (1) From 2020, soil conservation (SC), carbon storage (CS), grain productivity (GP), total (TES) increased by 44.48%, 1.03%, 57.84, 1.67% respectively. Water yield (WY) habitat quality (HQ) decreased 1.36% 0.64%, (2) interaction anthropogenic, climate, vegetation, geomorphological has a significantly greater impact for than any single factor, though anthropogenic dominate distribution regional (3) There is obvious heterogeneity properties intensity correlations between driving ESs. Anthropogenic significant negative effects on CS, WY, HQ Vegetation force improvement GP TES, while climatic factor SC (4) MGWR achieved optimal performance, four selected explain 61.9%, 81.3%, 97.1%, 56.7%, 81.6%, 79.2% SC, HQ, GP, Based results, we suggest that future management, planning decision making, focus maintaining balance activities vegetation restoration. provides convenient method relationship geographic space, reference sustainable region world.

Land use/cover change (LUCC) has an important impact on the terrestrial carbon cycle. The spatial distribution of regional reserves can provide scientific basis for management ecosystem storage and formulation ecological environmental policies. This paper proposes a method combining CA-based FLUS model Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Trade-offs (InVEST) to assess temporal changes in due land-use over 1990–2015 Qinghai Lake Basin (QLB). Furthermore, future is simulated evaluated 2020–2030 under three scenarios natural growth (NG), cropland protection (CP), (EP). long-term variations QLB are discussed. results show that: (1) Carbon decreased at first (1990–2000) increased later (2000–2010), with total increasing by 1.60 Tg C (Teragram: unit mass equal 1012 g). From 2010 2015, displayed downward trend, sharp decrease wetlands croplands as main cause; (2) Under NG scenario, 0.69 2020–2030. These increase significantly 6.77 7.54 CP EP scenarios, respectively, thus promoting benign development environment. study improves our understanding northeastern Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau (QTP).
