Wetlands possess intangible values that are usually overlooked in decision-making processes. Based on questionnaire surveys, this work aims to quantify both the non-use and cultural provided by different wetlands of Po Delta Park (Northern Italy), selected as ideal case study, using willingness pay (WTP) for wetland conservation travel cost methods, respectively. Their relationships with socio-economic variables respondents' preferences current future use were also analysed. The 61.39% participants willing a mean amount 95.8 € (±40). average was 38.68 (±6.24), higher observed environmental experts than other citizens. differ significantly costs, use, but not WTP. Poisson regressions showed dependent personal information, preference distance. Intangible dimensions, such bequest existence values, valuations/rates option direct values. results highlight perceptions intrinsic value nature influenced demographic characteristics, distance from area desired uses. Non-use seem abstract generalised whole area, regardless ecological characteristics wetland, even though significant relation uses observed. In contrast, tied specific wetlands, indication importance historical between people nature. Such findings underline dimensions may act at scales help decision-makers incorporate into accounting.

Introduction Realizing the value of ecological products (EP) is great significance to comprehensively promote green transformation China’s economy. With increasing demand consumers for green, environmental protection and health, tendency people’s consumption (GC) has been triggered. Based on theory sustainable development ecosystem services, this paper constructs relevant econometric models deeply discusses influence mechanism demand-side GC behavior E p realization (EPVR). Methods This obtains reliability data from statistical reports yearbooks, innovatively index system EPVR whose comprehensive indexes are measured by entropy weight TOPSIS method. In analysis stage, STATA software was used unit root test, cointegration multicollinearity test descriptive statistics. On basis, regression carried out constructing a two-way fixed effect model, mediating moderating model. Results discussion (1) The level generally not high with national average 0.156 in study area. area significantly different 0.311; (2) From results significant positive EPVR, passed series robustness tests; (3) influential mechanism, further affects affecting supply willingness EP, advancement industrial structure rationalization structure. Among them, EP partial effect, complete masking effect; (4) perspective heterogeneity analysis, it found that enhanced turn eastern, central western regions China through grouping adjustment promotion more obvious areas lower economic level. provides an important literature reference impact China.

Environmental management and policy approaches based on singular values (e.g., intrinsic or instrumental) tend to oversimplify human-nature relationships, often marginalizing local compromising both equity effectiveness. Although Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) have been criticized their instrumental, market-based orientation, these programs the potential reflect a diversity of values, depending how they are designed implemented. While research plural nature (i.e., intrinsic, relational) in PES contexts is beginning emerge, there still limited empirical exploring coexist reinforce one another. This therefore aims: i) develop classification framework relational, settings; ii) apply this two Cali, Colombia, empirically examine multiple interact within programs. We conducted 60 semi-structured interviews with community-based external expert actors, used content co-occurrence analysis explore 'value fabric'-the complex interwoven ways which articulated contexts. found that relational were most frequently mentioned, common co-occurrences observed between instrumental value monetary compensation such as stewardship, quality life, social cohesion. argue design should align participatory equity-based support stewards care-based practices. Analyzing through fabric' lens further emphasizes diverse interconnected people relate nature, enabling foster more legitimate, just, effective conservation outcomes.
