Energy conservation has become a critical issue, especially in the context of global environmental challenges and rising energy costs. This article emphasizes growing importance sustainability by integrating technical evaluations heat recovery ventilation (HRV) systems demand reduction with an economic analysis new detached buildings Poland. We studied efficiency application HRV different insulation thicknesses quantities air exchanged. Through over 2500 building performance simulations, study explores interplay between investments technologies. The findings demonstrated that households can achieve significant savings, around 2600 kWh annually, installing system. These savings are contingent upon various factors, including exchange rates, thickness, thermal properties windows. revealed benefits due to optimal range EUR 1000–8600 from 500 up 5900 regarding investment HRV, depending on price intensity ventilation.
