Sustainable building practices face various problematic areas in the European region, such as climate change, high initial costs for sustainable materials and technologies, regulation, sourcing materials, performance, staff competencies, energy efficiency, waste management, environmental quality impact, community perception awareness, integration with existing infrastructure, others. In order to address these problems, it is essential adopt appropriate methods techniques that facilitate informed decision-making creation of strategies developing practices. One analyzing multi-criteria assessment allow consideration multiple criteria simultaneously, providing a more holistic view alternatives being assessed. These enhance transparency process by clearly defining weights used evaluation, they can be adapted this study, COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment) method was chosen which provides systematic quantitative approach evaluating ranking based on ensures objective data-driven process. This study aims analyze development peculiarities region applying method. scientific literature review, method, expert evaluation were applied. The results showed confidence structural properties secondary (traceability) received highest weight among other criteria. Applying comprehensive highlighted assessing set vital construction manufacturing sectors. findings could significant policymakers

Since fossil fuels still dominate industry and electricity production, post-combustion carbon capture remains essential for decarbonizing these sectors. The most advanced technique widespread application, particularly in hard-to-abate industries, is amine-based absorption. However, increasing energy efficiency crucial broader implementation. This study presents pilot-scale results from the Tauron Power Plant Poland using a mobile CO2 unit (1 TPD). Two innovative process modifications—Split Flow (SF) Heat Integrated Stripper (HIS)—were experimentally investigated; they achieved 10% reduction reboiler heat duty, reaching 2.82 MJ/kgCO2, along with 36% decrease overall losses up to 28% cross-flow exchanger duty. analysis highlights both advantages challenges of modifications. SF easier retrofit into existing plants, whereas HIS requires more extensive modifications stripper section, thus making cost-effective new installations. Moreover, as consumption constitutes primary operational cost, even moderate duty can lead significant economic benefits. also offers substantial potential thermal integration industries available waste streams. pilot data underwent validation procedures ensure reliability, which provides robust foundation modeling, optimization, scaling industrial applications.
