Ecosystem services are the beneficial goods and that ecosystems provide to humans. Urbanization is an important feature of human social development. While promoting economic development, it also brings about land degradation, resource depletion, environmental pollution other problems, intensifying transformation natural into semi-natural artificial ecosystems, ultimately leading loss ecosystem service functions declining value. The study impact urbanization on value critical importance for conservation sustainable This examined spatio-temporal patterns urbanization’s impacts in Yellow River Basin from perspective heterogeneity. Findings: (1) Both (ESV) level (UL) were rise whole, but they significantly spatially negatively correlated mainly characterized by high–low spatial clustering “low ESV–high UL” “high ESV–low UL”. negative correlation was gradually weakened with development mode ecological restoration projects Basin. (2) five subsystems diverse. Landscape had a all regions; innovation changed having positive impact; demographic both impact. (3) To promote coordinated protection YRB, this paper proposes change model, implement zoning, formulate classified plans. compensates shortcomings current studies ignore different lack sufficient consideration heterogeneity characteristics ESVs, enriches theoretical understanding interrelationships between systems basin areas, provides scientific basis rational formulation urban planning policies region, which great practical significance.

Environmental managers have sought to optimize landscape structure maintain regional ecosystem health (EH). However, we still lack a full understanding of the effects changing on EH, especially in terms shorter time scales (e.g., monthly or seasonal scales) and spatial heterogeneity. To address this gap, study used vigor-organization-resilience-services (VORS) model assess annual variation EH Loess Plateau (LP) during 2000–2015, then applied geographically weighted regression (GWR) investigate different aspects (i.e., composition configuration) change over time. Our results showed that level LP from 2000 2015 displayed temporal non-stationarity at scales, pattern decreasing southeast northwest. The had obvious heterogeneity, depending local configuration. In general, configuration exerted greater impact than apart Shannon's diversity index percentage forestland area, but intensity direction higher temporally instability therefore should receive more attention. Furthermore, regulation dominant patch size, connectivity forest spacing is optimal choice for management. suggest responses changes vary by place, integrating characteristics can help decision-makers make precise arrangements adjustments keep negative ecological impacts within reasonable limits.

This study selects Beijing from 1980 to 2020 as the research area, utilizing high temporal resolution land use data analyze through habitat quality module of InVEST model. Unlike previous research, this employs Theil-Sen Median method and Mann-Kendall test trend changes in more accurately. has significant advantages dealing with non-linear non-normally distributed over long time series, providing a accurate reliable analysis trends. Methodologically, first collects organizes type 2020, then uses model process each year, assessing impact different types on quality. Subsequently, are used series quality, identify quantify significance changes. The results show that past 40 years, area construction significantly expanded, leading compression other land. spatial distribution shows clear difference between two sides divided by line connecting northeast southwest, west side being good east poorer. In 10 overall improved, but most areas still decreasing trend, especially western northern mountainous where declined. Based these findings, it is recommended future urban planning management should pay attention protection improvement restoration work for poor
