Retrofitting construction equipment has been widely regarded as an effective solution to the severe problem of extensive emissions from diesel engines. However, in Hong Kong, limited efforts have dedicated promoting retrofitting despite adverse impacts high-emitting in-service on urban environment and public health. Thus, this study proposes a strategy-making framework based multi-dimensional cost-effectiveness analysis approach. First, units Kong's inventory database are classified by identified predominant factors emissions, including types, engine horsepower, complied emission tiers. Then, each group reduce PM using devices, namely oxidation catalysts (DOC) particulate filters (DPF) is calculated. Finally, groups prioritized for their cost-effectiveness, retrofit strategies formulated with constraints budgets or desired emissions-reduction goals. This finds that Kong ranges 17.7 197.8 HK$ per ton reduced DOC 285.40 1,058.97 DPF. significantly more cost-effective than DPF all groups. Furthermore, examines targeted reduction Some suggestions also proposed. These can help government quantify identify funding priority consequently cost-effectively.

While sustainable construction practices effectively reduce environmental impact, their exclusive focus on environmental, economic, and social goals limits ability to actively foster positive transformation ecosystem restoration. Addressing the growing challenges in built environment necessitates a shift regenerative within industry. Unlike sustainability, go beyond concept of merely sustaining status quo; they are geared towards enhancing restoring over time. However, implementing these is less prominent industry due absence suitable tool for evaluating expected performance outcomes. This study bridges this gap by introducing novel evaluation framework practices, establishing benchmark implementation. Through an extensive literature review data collection from committee outcome leads, we employ Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical Process (FAHP) establish interconnections among key criteria. Results highlight dominant significance "Healthy, more resilient, connected communities," surpassing other criteria like "Thriving prosperous natural systems," "Prosperous resilient local economies," "Net-positive development." The proposed offers theoretical practical implications, fostering new approach that exceeds sustainability standards provides tangible guidance decision-makers.

+This research examines the integration of local wisdom-based green construction practices and their influence on sustainable performance through implementation strategies in Indonesian industry. It focuses ten projects Bali. The main problem faced is lack understanding effectiveness improving developing countries. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, data was collected from 200 engineers involved projects. Results show that significantly performance, both directly (path coefficient 0.290) indirectly mediation (indirect effect 0.575). model shows high explanatory power with R-squared values 0.802 for Implementation Strategy 0.831 Sustainable Performance. These findings indicate integrating wisdom when mediated by an effective strategy, can improve waste management identified as dominant indicator (loading factor 0.936) construction. In contrast, alignment government policies regulations 0.925) became critical strategy. results this study be applied project developers, managers, policymakers designing more into practices, considering customizations based variations cultural geographical contexts
