ABSTRACT Solar radiation modification (SRM) through space solar shielding is a proposed strategy to mitigate global warming. This approach involves reflecting sunlight back into while allowing Earth's infrared escape, thereby controlling climate change. The effectiveness of evaluated using complex algorithm that considers various parameters the satellite, such as its size, orbit, and deployment mechanism. thickness shield should be similar wavelength, around 400‐600 nm, deflect with an expected mass density lower than 1.5 g/m 2 . primary objective reduce greenhouse effect by mitigating increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO ) levels. In 2022, CO levels United States surpassed pre‐industrial level 278 ppm, increasing approximately 7.11 ppm due consumption coal, natural gas, petroleum for electricity generation. point reflects relatively recovered environment at end pandemic. Therefore, long‐wavelength energy going out from Earth absorbed increases temperature atmosphere, so we want coming Earth. performance analyzed system dynamics (SD) model, which incorporates feedback loops non‐linear relationships between variables. results indicate reduction may diminish over time, overall mitigation benefits could significant. However, large scale raises concerns about potential side effects. Further research necessary assess environmental socio‐economic implications this geoengineering approach.
