Selenium-enriched sweet maize is an important product to alleviate selenium deficiency in the human body. In this study, effects of basal application fertilizer on content and yield were analyzed a 2-year field trial using two-factor, five-level, split-area experimental combination design with different rate (150–750 kg ha−1) depth (1–20 cm). It was found that significantly affected dry matter mass, content, accumulation maize. particular, Se3D4 treatment (a 450 ha−1 15 cm) performed best increasing grain. The data showed grain under reached 3.59 mg kg−1 3.24 kg−1, which 13.63 13.70 folds as control, respectively, 6.28 t 6.07 ha−1, 24.35% 33.30% higher than respectively. Therefore, by optimizing fertilizer, can be increased. results study provide theoretical basis for precise biofortification
