Wild ginseng is known to have better pharmacological effects than cultivated ginseng. Additionally, recently developed bioengineering technology has made it possible produce cultured wild with the same genetic composition. In this study, we investigated change in characteristics and improvement of intestinal barrier roots (CWG) fermented (FCWG). First, screened nine strains bacteria that are capable growing on 5-brix CWG medium, Limosilactobacillus fermentum HY7303 (HY7303) showed highest growth. Second, changes due fermentation using pH total carbohydrates decreased, reducing sugars increased. The contents minor ginsenosides (Rg3(s), Rk1, Rg5) Third, extracellular vesicles (EVs) a single peak at 493.7 nm were isolated from CWG, EVs three peaks 9.0 nm, 155.6 459.0 FCWG, respectively. Finally, when treated Caco-2 cells FCWG EVs, confirmed functions, including recovery, permeability, expression tight-junction protein genes. potential derived FCWG. conclusion, study suggests improves by increasing producing EVs.
