Proteins interact with each other in complex ways to perform significant biological functions. These interactions, known as protein-protein interactions (PPIs), can be depicted a graph where proteins are nodes and their edges. The development of high-throughput experimental technologies allows for the generation numerous data which permits increasing sophistication PPI models. However, despite progress, current networks remain incomplete. Discovering missing through techniques costly, time-consuming, challenging. Therefore, computational approaches have emerged valuable tools predicting interactions. In networks, is usually used model between proteins. An edge two indicates interaction, while absence an means interaction not or missed. this binary representation overlooks reliability when new ones. To address challenge, we propose novel approach link prediction weighted weights denote confidence scores. By leveraging from yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae obtained STRING database, introduce that combines similarity-based algorithms aggregated score accurate purposes. Our significantly improves accuracy, surpassing traditional terms Mean Absolute Error, Relative Root Square Error. proposed holds potential improved accuracy PPIs, crucial better understanding underlying processes.
