The development of tumors and their metastasis relies heavily on the process angiogenesis. When volume a tumor expands, resulting internal hypoxic conditions trigger body to enhance production various angiogenic factors. These include vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), fibroblast (FGF), platelet-derived (PDGF), transforming factor-α (TGF-α), all which work together stimulate activation cells catalyze Antiangiogenic therapy (AAT) aims normalize blood vessels by inhibiting these signals. In this review, we will explore molecular mechanisms angiogenesis within microenvironment, discuss traditional antiangiogenic drugs along with limitations, examine new advantages combination therapy, consider future research directions in field drugs. This comprehensive overview provide insights that may aid more effective anti-tumor treatments.
