While sodium sources are abundant and reasonably priced, Na-ion batteries being considered as a viable replacement for Li-ion in large-scale energy storage systems. Considerable international effort is directed into the development of high-performance electrode materials batteries, which crucial to their growth. This study presents comprehensive overview anode including most recent advancements Na-storage methods. graphite-based carbon materials, hard carbon-based nanostructured titanium-based chalcogen-based alloy-based other anodes (metal oxides, sulfides, organic materials). Review also describes processes electrochemical properties different materials.
