Although extant literature suggests that refugee entrepreneurs are strongly motivated by their precarious economic situation and the challenges they face in labour market, there is evidence personal attributes essential to entrepreneurial agency. The current study assesses role of positive psychological attributes, including mindfulness, capital, occupational future time perspective (OFTP), with process variables, self-efficacy, initiative, intention, implementation intention. A moderated mediation model indicating effects mindfulness on abilities intentions mediated capital OFTP tested. uses survey data from 404 refugees living rural urban settlements Uganda. Regression analysis using PROCESS Macro showed support for hypothesized model. These findings provide preliminary suggesting integrating interventions entrepreneurship promotion can boost action.
