Characterizing the electric energy curve can improve efficiency of existing buildings without any structural change and is basis for controlling optimizing building performance. Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques show much potential due to their accuracy malleability in field pattern recognition, using these models it possible adjust services real time. Thus, objective this paper determine AI technique that best forecasts electrical loads. The suggested are random forest (RF), support vector regression (SVR), extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), multilayer perceptron (MLP), long short-term memory (LSTM), temporal convolutional network (Conv-1D). conducted research applies a methodology considers bias variance models, enhancing robustness most suitable modeling forecasting electricity consumption buildings. Building construction accounts for a significant proportion of global greenhouse gas emissions, raw material extraction, and waste production. Applying circular economy (CE) principles in the building industry would considerably reduce these values. However, uptake by is relatively slow, which largely attributed to sectoral barriers, including limitations knowledge experience. This review paper aims assess contribute diminishing obstacles offering comprehensive usage strategies within sector. Opportunities facilitators change are also presented, innovations emerging technologies recycling, digitization, robotic systems, novel materials, processing. Finally, four case studies demonstrate application theory via block system, recycled aggregate, modular kitchen reuse, an energy efficiency retrofit. The conclusions show that future efforts should prioritize development strong regulatory frameworks, awareness initiatives, international cooperation. In this regard, integration technological advancements, such as AI, robotics, blockchain, essential optimizing management efficiency. Furthermore, education on practices plays critical role. Through collaboration, standardizing approaches can promote more sustainable resilient industry.

Purpose Addressing global warming challenge, carbon emissions reduction potential of the construction industry has received additional attentions. The decoupling and through policies, technologies model innovations is an effective way for reducing environmental pollution achieve eco-urban target. paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach Within scope green building (GB-CO 2 ) research, a large number scientific literature been published in discipline over past few decades. However, it seems that systematic summary strategies, techniques, models discussion future direction GB-CO lacking. Therefore, this carries out data mining on authoritative journals, identified key research topics, active areas further trends visualization studies. Findings This study contributes body knowledge by critically reviewing summarizing: professional high-quality journals have greater influence developed countries developing are all very concerned about sustainable buildings, current hot topics focus application life cycle models, energy efficiency, performance concrete material, etc. Moreover, could expand cross-national long-term mechanisms, develop comprehensive assessment build technical standards tests material systems, exploit multi-objective decision considering decarbonizing design renewable energy. Originality/value value insight state-of-the-art more recent decade. A vividly effectively method documented extending traditional bibliometric review deeper discussion. can also benefit practitioners providing them focused perspective strategy emerging practices projects.
