The current research presents a practical approach to assess energy performance and thermal comfort in households through monitoring campaigns. campaigns are conducted Greek city, involving the installation of low-intrusive recording devices for hourly electricity consumption, indoor temperature, relative humidity different residences winter summer periods. recorded environmental conditions initially compiled Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) index, followed by formulation databases PMV local outdoor climate retrieved an official source meteorological conditions. A special algorithm database processing was developed which takes into account eligibility data series, i.e., only ones corresponding non-zero consumption treated as eligible. First, sequential temporal progress is produced towards assessment energy-use intensity patterns. Secondly, summing within 0.5-step intervals, under three temperature intervals with approximately same number eligible measurements, reliable interrelations obtained even limited amount measured data. It revealed that weekly ranged 0.15–3.59 kWh/m2 cases 0.29–1.72 cases. acceptable range −1 ≤ 1 interval holds occurrence frequency from 69.46% 93.39% 37.94% 70.31% examined cases, respectively. Less resistance discomfort observed at most exhibiting peak 1.5 interval, contrary occurred −0.5 interval. study provides graphical relationships various temperatures paving way correlating consumption.
