In the context of sustainable energy use, multiple criteria are involved in decision to select best generation projects, as well its installation location. However, despite widespread use decision-making techniques, there is a noticeable gap due lack systematic process for selecting projects transition. This paper evaluates alternatives photovoltaic panels floating systems and proposes procedure project using multiple-criteria analysis. The Entropy method was used determine weight eight criteria, including cost, number cells, efficiency, area, panel weight, power characteristics, Technique Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) make selection. A sensitivity analysis conducted considering different weighing methods. Among 20 analysed, proved be effective determining most successful one systems. chosen maintained performance all scenarios tested. provides approach suitable systems, contributing researchers refine methodologies practitioners optimise implementation initiatives.
