Biofuels are perfect replacements for conventional fossil fuels, as they environmentally friendly, non-polluting, locally available, sustainable, renewable, and accessible. The biomass, available abundantly on the earth's crust can be used production of biofuels via circular economy concept. presence high organic content, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological (BOD), etc. makes them excellent candidates bioenergy generation. Bioenergy generation from agro-industrial wastes, a major biomass feedstock, is considered to promising technology overcoming fuel depletion well environmental pollution. Also, utilization wastes feedstocks in large quantities resolves concerns associated with waste management, which otherwise piles up causes severe pollution health-hazardous effects. Thus, current review mainly focuses valorization wastes. It also discusses various methodologies employed different e.g., biogas, biohydrogen, bioethanol, biodiesel, further highlights strategies, limitations, prospects feedstock management. gives detailed insight into integrated depolymerization hydrolysis where it effectively "green tool" industries biorefinery applications, step towards "cleaner ecosystem future".

Hydrogen is regarded as one of the utmost competent alternative fuels in transition to net-zero emissions for future. Nowadays, it still majorly derived from non-renewable energy resources (i.e., fossil fuels). Regrettably, a key issue reliance on these depleted extremely negative impacts our milieu. The emergence envisioned biomass-to-sustainable H2 strategy viewed an appealing opportunity generate sustainable strategic H2. This review article summarizes patented approaches (thermochemical, biological, and electrochemical) production enticing raw material biomass. optimization different prominent parameters achieve eventual easiest way was additionally discussed. advancement operational parameters, technical challenges, scalable improvement each pathway briefly addressed. Moreover, contemporary economic viewpoints bankable biomass-to-H2 processes flow diagrams terms circular economy were highlighted order effectively value biomass supply chains produce Hopefully, this work presents more favorable theoretical in-depth mechanistic understanding bio-sourced hydrogen's pathways.
