Abstract The major and challengeable restriction facing coal power plants (CPPs) is the emission of polluting gases caused by burning coal. Therefore, adopting reasonable practical solutions toward mitigate pollutants needful. integration renewable technologies energies with such can be possible in achieving higher efficiency mitigating emissions. In current research, thermodynamic assessment analysis pollutant reduction a CPP using renewables developed. this regard, molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) solar farm (based on parabolic dish collectors, PDCs) are integrated CPP. Developed generate electric domestic hot water (DHW). addition to MCFC, two gas steam turbines have been installed electricity. planned primarily coal-driven; however, it has units reduce environmental hazards According findings yielded from simulation, energy exergy efficiencies equal 72.5% 43.85%, respectively. It was also estimated that could around 205.5 MW electricity 1027.5 kg DHW per second. Additionally, amount released approximately 0.116 t/s. On average, required number collectors A B should almost 89.9 25.4, performance when Powder River Basin (PRBC) compared plant petcoke.

- They use technologies for the thermochemical conversion of substances biomass, like pyrolysis, torrefaction, gasification, and hydrothermal process. In recent years, generation synthetic gas has significantly developed. This is especially true when associated with biomass gasification processes, primarily related to syngas production. The review focuses on cleaning syngas, simulation methods procedure parameters. conclusion, prospect growths opportunities are investigated, discussions culminate presentation a novel hydrogen fabrication strategy predicated utilizing modified combustion process that operates such an air deficit.

Biomass is a viable and accessible source of energy that can help address the problem shortages in rural remote areas. Another important issue for societies today lack clean water, especially places with high populations low rainfall. To both these concerns, sustainable biomass-fueled power cycle integrated double-stage reverse osmosis water-desalination unit has been designed. The system provided by 20% generated from bottoming cycles this allocation be altered based on needs freshwater or power. This assessed energy, exergy, thermoeconomic, environmental perspectives, two distinct multi-objective optimization scenarios are applied featuring various objective functions. considered parameters assessment gas turbine inlet temperature, compressor’s pressure ratio, cold end temperature differences heat exchangers 2 3. In first scenario, considering pollution index, total cost exergy products, efficiency as functions, optimal values are, respectively, identified 0.7644 kg/kWh, 32.7 USD/GJ, 44%. Conversely, second emission output net 0.7684 27.82 2615.9 kW.
