ABSTRACT A hybrid energy system, comprising a diesel engine as the prime mover, electrical and absorption chillers, backup boiler, multi‐effect distillation through thermal vapor compression (MED‐TVC) unit, has been utilized to meet requirements of residential complex. This study focuses on redesigning optimizing system enhance environmental conditions, reduce pollutants, minimize use fossil energy. The feasibility design renewable systems, including wind turbines (WTs), photovoltaic panels (PVs), flat plate collectors (FPCs), have examined. Genetic algorithm (GA) employed for optimization. employs 21 variables, with 24 variables chosen optimization alongside energies. total annual cost (TAC), encompassing investment, operation, pollution emission fines, objective function minimization. results indicate that WTs not cost‐effective, solar can system's performance in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan province Iran. In case using combined value was 2.0472 × 10 6 $/year, when energies, became 1.6795 $/year. Thus, proposed combined‐renewable reduced by 17.96%.

With the development of Chinese society, there is an increasing demand for emissions reduction and stable operation power grid. Regional comprehensive energy supply systems have entered public’s view owing to their advantages reducing capacity, unified dispatch, improving efficiency, consumption. This paper focuses on a system under construction in Chongqing, which adopts combined gas tri-supply (combined cooling, heat, power, CCHP) dynamic ice storage cooling as research object. By establishing mathematical model simulation research, this study examines start–stop priority sequence subsystem heat pump strategy winter summer proposes corresponding optimization solutions. comparing annual operating consumption system, we conclude that composite has good economic efficiency peak-shaving capability, indicating regional great application potential future. The proposed optimized simulated calculation provide theoretical guidance both project similar projects.
