Pyrolysis of biomass converts all components into liquid, gaseous, and solid products without the need for component separation. However, composition liquid from lignocellulosic is usually complex difficult to upgrade. Slow pyrolysis de-oiled rapeseed cake, an agricultural waste pressing process, was carried out fuel production. The maximum yield bio-oil obtained 51.6 wt.% under optimized conditions. HHV bio-oil, containing mainly acids, hydrocarbons, esters, alcohols, 32.82 MJ·kg−1, similar that bio-diesel, be promising in downstream upgrading because properties such as higher caloric value, limited moisture content, well neutral pH were close commercial bio-diesel. gaseous fraction consisted CO, C1, C2 H2, CO2, corresponding LHV reached 7.63 MJ·Nm−3. bio-chars declined 41.8 at 400 °C 28.8 800 °C, whereas varied 29.03 MJ·kg−1 30.14 comparative coal, indicating a candidate fuels or functional carbon. product shows promise feedstock producing high-quality fuel.
