Zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) have become a highly desirable energy storage technology due to their significant advantages, such as low cost and high safety; however, the limitation of cathode materials has major factor restricting development ZIBs. Here, molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) nanoflakes were investigated for first time novel The unique two-dimensional (2D) layered structure MoSe2 provides convenient channels multiple active sites zinc (Zn) ion diffusion. showed specific capacity 30.1 mA h/g at 0.1 A/g well almost no decay 1.0 after 1500 cycles. Further, Zn–MoSe2 coin cell successfully excited light-emitting diode, showing good application prospects. Moreover, there was aging battery cycling, thus indicating satisfactory potential. This work broadens 2D in

Sol-gel coatings are commonly used to prevent corrosion from molten salt mixtures in CSP plants. Until now, they have been driven primarily by cost considerations, without integrating environmental criteria into the modeling and decision-making process. The novelty of this study lies development an evaluation framework that incorporates impact alongside technical economic factors, providing a more sustainable approach. This work assesses porosity, thermal shock resistance, thickness determine optimal sol-gel coating. For purpose, multi-criteria technique “Analytic Hierarchy Process” (AHP) Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology implemented. results show scores obtained for 3YSZ-5A (5% mol) coating higher than those 3YSZ (3% 3YSZ-20A (20% coatings, between 1.52 1.69, respectively. is solution among all systems analyzed, with score 0.61 AHP pt. same type molar concentration (20%) achieved 0.55 Finally, received lowest rating, 0.36 insights generated research will support design maintenance
