The sustainability of the planet is based on reducing use fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions. recovery biomass waste puts economically valuable materials into circulation, which can successfully replace would otherwise be sent to landfills. Based review several published works, we observe that referenced processes value or are not necessarily most profitable environmentally friendly. used methods valorize mainly researchers knowledge experience, neglecting some more appropriate developing technologies. valorization wastes should promote production products with highest added value, it must also friendly cost-effective. This manuscript proposes a hierarchy for various waste, from agricultural activities, urban solids food processing industries, even wood industries. proposed number recommendations aimed at increasing biomass, in order reach objective carbon neutrality comply principles circular economy.

This article reviews biochar production and its potential applications across various sectors, including agriculture, environmental remediation, energy storage. It emphasizes the critical role of feedstock source process parameters, such as residence time, heating rate, temperature, in determining biochar’s properties. Although extensive research has been conducted on physical chemical properties biochar, there remains a significant gap evaluating practical applications. paper Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) valuable tool for optimizing both application strategies. By exploring scholarly articles patents, it offers insights into techniques, characterization methods, importance optimization sustainable efficient use real-world scenarios.
