<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">Since the obvious difficulties in realizing a lightweight long-range full electric powertrain, Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs) are still most suitable solution for heavy-duty mobility. In fossil fuel free scenario, bioethanol is one of interesting alternative fuels. Its high-octane number, high latent heat vaporization and laminar flame speed guarantee performance with reduced pollutant emissions compared to other Spark Ignition (SI) engine However, ethanol evaporation corrosivity represent quite serious challenges. This work aims at investigating actual turbocharged SI ICE fueled load different speeds. A 1-D numerical model that includes sub-models was developed order evaluate performance, ensuring each operating condition. The validated through an experimental campaign carried out above-mentioned engine, Single Point Injection (SPI) configuration. particular, guaranteed adoption conditions specific technical solutions. Simulation output have been results obtained from same conditions, natural gas Port Fuel (PFI) An additional characterized by PFI system compare simulation hardware conditions.</div></div>
