The International Energy Agency (IEA) has declared energy and artificial intelligence (AI) as a "new power couple". AI today plays key role in optimizing production, distribution consumption. In addition, will significantly improve: the efficiency of renewable sources, grid stability future. Areas where is being intensively applied it be are: Smart grids which optimally stored distributed from different plants substations; Demand side management to ensure electricity grid, thanks analysis data on demand production real time; Renewable more accurately balance supply demand; storage optimize sources; Predictive maintenance systems, performance assets continuously monitored analyzed identify potential failures/errors advance; Increasing smart buildings(this most promising use AI) by using predictive algorithms real-time monitoring; trading (international) market; Oil gas exploration; Monitoring operation nuclear plants...

The swift advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the energy transition. Being largest consumer globally, China’s acceleration urban transition will promote sustainable development and pave way for future development. This study examines impact digital divide between cities regarding by using panel data 271 Chinese from 2006 to 2021. We found following results. (1) an inhibitory effect on cities, hindering their towards green low-carbon (2) Further analyses that negative can be effectively mitigated strengthening infrastructure construction, promoting emerging technological innovation, cultivating attracting talent in industry. (3) results subsample show is more significant densely populated economically technologically developed non-resource-based cities. above findings hold practical implications overcoming stagnation transition, scientific implementation “Carbon Neutrality” initiative.

Abstract Digital economy has become an important engine for promoting green development. The existing literature mainly analyzed the impact of digital on development, but rarely examines coordinated development relationship between two. This study contributes to by constructing a research framework coupling coordination and urban using entropy method, model, spatial auto-correlation examine two.The results show that:(1) During period, comprehensive level in Yangtze River Delta (YRD) both showed upward consistent trend. The was significantly lower than that gap two continued narrow. (2) overall 41 cities YRD relatively low showing continuous It undergone transition from near imbalance primary coordination, still with long way realize high-quality coordination. (3) different regions differences, order high Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu Anhui province respectively. (4) exhibited significant positive correlation dependence characteristics. can provide new perspective promote interaction economy.
