This paper presents a strategy based on the hierarchical rolling horizon control, also called model predictive control (MPC), for efficiently managing hydrogen-energy storage system (HESS) within an islanded wind-solar microgrid. An electrolyzer uses electricity generated from renewable sources to produce clean hydrogen, which is then re-electrified by fuel cell as needed meet microgrid's loads. The main contribution lies in incorporation of multiple hydrogen tanks HESS, distinguishing it existing literature, typically focuses single tank. HESS enables large volumes long-term use, allowing microgrid operate autonomously without interaction with utility grid. In order ensure optimal performance, selection most suitable device operation at each time-step crucial. proposed takes into account economic and operational costs, degradation aspects, physical constraints while simultaneously ensuring tracking reference demands highest priority smoothing out variations energy sources. Numerical simulations lab-scale setup demonstrate that controller effectively manages thus satisfying optimizing even when deviations occur between predicted real-time scenarios. Furthermore, inclusion allows both mitigate fluctuations power load demand.

This study aims to reveal consumers' intention purchase Electric Vehicles (EVs) based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) model. A hybrid fuzzy decision-making model with three stages is proposed. First, experts' weights are computed using an artificial intelligence methodology. Second, eight UTAUT-based indicators examined a T-Spherical TOPSIS-based DEMATEL (TOP-DEMATEL) The criteria weighted by multi-SWARA (M-SWARA) Third, evaluation conducted for seven emerging countries considering Spherical Fuzzy (SF) Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) technique. main contribution this that new methodology can identify more significant determinants use EVs. methodological integrating theory. findings demonstrate environmental factors play most role in Additionally, performance expectancy also another critical determinant. Within the scope of sustainable development, integrating electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy sources (RESs) into power grids offers a number benefits. These include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, diversifying sources, promoting use green energy. Although literature on hosting capacity (HC) models has grown, there is still noticeable gap in discussion that successfully handle transmission expansion planning (TEP), demand response (DR), HC objectives simultaneously. Combining TEP, DR, one model optimizes resource use, enhances grid stability, supports EV integration, aligns with regulatory market demands, resulting more efficient, reliable, system. This research presents an innovative two-layer model, including considerations for TEP DR. The determines highest degree load shifting appropriate incorporation networks first layer. Meanwhile, second layer focuses augmenting RES EVs' capability modernizing network infrastructure. System operators can choose best scenario to increase penetration level EVs RESs aid proposed model. which formulated as multi-objective mixed-integer nonlinear optimization problem, uses hierarchical technique identify effective solutions by combining particle swarm algorithm crayfish optimizer. When compared traditional methods, results obtained from implementing Garver IEEE 24-bus system indicated how it at solving presented case studies demonstrated DR problem reduced peak 10.4-23.25%. findings also highlighted did not impact total consumed throughout day, but reshape timing charging, creating opportunities integration during periods high demand. Implementing projects needed and, some cases, led cost savings up 12.3%.
