In this study, the effect of morphological traits on fresh herbage yield sorghum x sudangrass hybrid plant grown in Konya province, which is largest cereal production area Turkey, was analyzed with some data mining methods. For purpose, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Automatic Linear Model (ALM), Random Forest (RF) Algorithm and Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) were used, prediction performances these methods compared. Plant height 251.22 cm, stem diameter 7.03 mm, 8010.69 kg da -1 , crude protein ratio 9.09%, acid detergent fiber 33.23%, neutral 57.44%, lignin 7.43%, dry matter digestibility 63.01%, intake 2.11%, relative feed value 103.02 descriptive statistical values that computed. fit statistics, including coefficient determination (R 2 ), adjusted R root mean square error (RMSE), absolute percentage (MAPE), standard deviation (SD ratio), Mean Absolution Error (MAE) Relative (RAE), used to evaluate abilities fitted models. The MARS method shown be best model for describing yield, lowest RMSE, MAPE, SD ratio, MAE RAE (137.7, 1.488, 0.072, 109.718 0.017, respectively), as well highest (0.995) (0.991). experimental results show algorithm most suitable predicting hybrid, providing a good alternative other algorithms.
