Abstract Green innovation makes economic growth rely on scientific and technological innovation, replaces the traditional cheap labor energy-driven development mode, achieves goal of ecological environment improvement sustainable development, realizes green society as a whole. In this paper, China’s catering industry is selected specific research object, system indicators for measuring efficiency built, an SBM-DEA model based non-expected outputs constructed, Malmquist-Luenberger productivity index introduced to improve model, realizing evaluation in 30 provinces regions China. Meanwhile, convergence status regional national explored according China whole East West. The values two stages technology industrialization are 0.6149 0.8751, respectively. value second stage significantly higher than that first stage. through comparison, it can be seen has clear gap between regions, dynamic most provincial administrative units greater 1. addition, from 2014 2023, change trend presented by inter-regional differences food beverage East-Central, East-West, Center-West overall decreasing trend, is, convergence, which provides data support relevant decisions.
