To enhance oil production from carbonate reservoirs, the implementation of advanced enhanced recovery (EOR) techniques has been proposed. This research evaluates potential flue gas and CO2 in water alternating (WAG) injection a homogeneous fractured reservoir characterized by low porosity permeability, incorporating salinity as hybrid method. Simulations were conducted using Eclipse (E300) software to assess effectiveness this approach. The optimization EOR method, including modified EOR, simultaneous (SWAG) gas, CO2, water, well patterns for gas-LSWAG CO2-LSWAG, analyzed achieve optimal factor. simulation results indicated that natural accounted only 29% total, highlighting necessity implementing methods recovery. Three types gases, derived steel, cement, power plants, along with considered study. findings revealed modification method resulted highest factor, reaching approximately 85%. Additionally, exhibited higher factor compared injection, which demonstrated lowest performance. Therefore, gas-WAG was recommended due its significant increase Furthermore, study investigated impact on performance, CO2-HSWAG outperforming CO2-LSWAG terms indicating positive response an salinity.
