Abstract Natural gas plays a critical role in sustainable development and energy transition because it's safe, high-heat clean energy. LNG-FSRU is an offshore floating storage regasification unit. Its main function to receive, store re-gasify LNG, plus transport the gasified natural gas. It gets transported ashore through subsea pipelines supply power plants residential users. However, mooring system key link engineering production of LNG-FSRU. Similar FPSO, has variety types, including single-point mooring, multi-point dynamic positioning dock moorings. Through comparative study, Tower Yoke Mooring (TYM) widely used shallow water its good economic benefits, disconnectability reliability. Therefore, we innovatively adopted different berthing mode from traditional terminal developed solution based on FSRU moored by TYM. Compared with fixed tower system, can reduce overturning moment reducing height connection point, so as facilitate design foundation, distance between point shortened. adopt carry out overall scheme research for LNG receiving project. Meanwhile, compared onshore terminals, this innovative TYM characteristics short construction period, rapid market development, smaller land area occupation high device flexibility. be economically developed, environmentally sensitive densely populated coastal areas. novel being transit, ensuring security improving people's living standards these Thus, it meets needs local social development.
