Piezoelectric materials (PZTs) enjoy extensive applications in the field of electromechanical sensors due to their sensitive response external electric fields. The limited piezoelectric for single-layer piezoceramic pellets drives use multilayered technology increase displacement a single piezo device. As is well known, Ag commonly used as metal electrodes devices based on traditional PZTs, which always densify at high temperature above 1100 °C, resulting migration. Here, high-performance samarium-ion-doped Sm0.01Pb0.99(Zr0.54Ti0.46)O3 ceramic was selected parent develop new Ag-cofired matrix with sintering 920 °C by glass flux. composition 2.0 wt% addition exhibits excellent performance d33~492 pC/N, planar coupling coefficient kp~50.1%, mechanical quality factor Qm~68.71, and Curie Tc~356 respectively. cyclic stability d33 measured below 6.6% 30 kV/cm, indicates that has good fatigue resistance. Therefore, this study provides novel system meet cofired requirement devices.
