With the advancement of intelligent power generation and consumption technologies, an increasing number renewable energy sources (RESs), smart loads, electric vehicles (EVs) are being integrated into grids. This paper proposes a coordinated frequency control strategy for hybrid systems with RESs, EVs, thermal unit (TPU), in which EVs TPU participate short-term regulation (FR) jointly. All provide FR auxiliary services as controllable loads; specifically, EV aggregations operate charging mode when participating FR. The proposed is implemented by improved recurrent neural network (IRNN), combines functional-link layer. weights biases IRNN trained backpropagation through time (BPTT) algorithm, chaotic competitive swarm optimizer (CCSO) to optimize learning rates. Finally, simulation results verify superiority strategy.
