Purpose The purpose of this study is to present a bibliometric analysis affordable and clean energy research, focusing on key themes, collaboration patterns the field’s intellectual structure. Design/methodology/approach Using sample 37 articles from Scopus, authors identified most frequently used keywords, productive countries organizations categorized research themes into niche, motor, basic emerging or declining themes. “Clean Energy,” “Renewable Energy” “Affordable Clean emerged as dominant highlighting alignment with global sustainability goals. USA, China India were found be countries, while institutions like Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College Nigerian National Petroleum Company played pivotal roles in collaborative networks, reflecting globalized interdisciplinary environment. Findings thematic revealed that motor such “Climate Change” “Greenhouse Gases”, are central discourse, topics “Economic Development” “Energy Conservation” niche areas. Basic including “Carbon Dioxide” “Electricity Industry,” remain foundational yet underdeveloped. Originality/value This provides structured overview landscape, offering insights current trends identifying areas for future exploration, an emphasis socio-economic impacts.
